The EPS Box functions as multi-source access that can connect sources from Utility, PV and Storage simultaneously, meeting the needs of multiple power supplies for the same load. It is indispensable to power systems.

In a real practical scenario, a power supply solution that integrates the EPS Box and hybrid inverters can maximize the power conversion efficiency of utility, PV and energy storage. Therefore, it will greatly improve the efficiency of power utilization and provide users with more reliable and efficient power solutions.

To be more specific, when the PV module starts to generate power, and output it via hybrid inverter, it will preferentially store the direct current into EPS energy storage battery. Once the battery is full, the inverter will output AC power and give priority to the load supply before feeding the grid. If the current generated by the module is insufficient to meet the load demand, the utility will output power in time.

On the contrary, when the EPS battery is saturated, the AC power converted by the module through the inverter will automatically go to grid, and will be sold to the utility. In case if the power of the utility is cutting off, and the hybrid inverter also stops generating power, the EPS box will get involved automatically, switching the load supply to the EPS energy storage battery, to make sure the power supply is continuously functioning. When the utility is restored to normal, the system will automatically switch back to the regular power supply mode.

It is also worth to mention that the EPS box is equipped with a bracket on the back, making the installation much easier and faster. All wires are hidden inside and shield with a inner board to keep a simple and elegant look. It is also equipped with waterproof cable glands and IP65 protection for harsh environments use.
