On the 17th-19th October, Projoy is participating in Solar & Storage Live - the UK's largest renewable energy exhibition - at the NEC in Birmingham. The popularity of solar energy in the UK has grown exponentially in recent years. While the UK government has set targets to reach 70GW of solar capacity by 2035, over 14.4 gigawatt (GW) had been installed in 2023 already, a third of which was rooftop solar. 

Although Projoy has already been a familiar brand to many installers in the UK, the company strives to improve its DC disconnect solution regularly to keep it at the front in development. It is also worth to mention that all of the products in display at the exhibition obtain UKCA certificate.

According to the data, On average, more than 17,000 households installed solar panels every month in 2023. Thus, Firefighter Safety Switch, a device that is typically required in certain implementation of rooftop solar PV systems, is in high demand in the UK. Projoy’s PEFS-EL Series Firefighter Safety Switch comes with various types of model that can be applied to all kinds of PV systems from household to C&I projects, and supports for 1-10 strings.

At the exhibition, Projoy has showcased three different versions of the PSOL series micro inverters, and attracted numerous visitors to our booth. Our small yet exquisite MS300~800 series micro inverter can be installed under severe conditions with its waterproof and moisture-proof features. The maximum efficiency of the product can reach to 96.7%, and the minimum warranty is 12 years. The MS2000 series and MS3000 series micro inverter efficiency reaches 97.0%, and have a maximum input current of 18.5 A.  

Projoy’s PEAS69 Series AC Isolator is another popular product on the UK market. It offers optional MC4 and Cable glands connectors, making it compatible with most of inverter brands. In addition, Projoy’s PEBS series DC MCB can be used in high-voltage solar PV applications, where the DC interrupting voltage needs to be up to 1000 VDC.
